Parisian Winter Fashion Essentials

I love winter fashion! All the layers and cozy fabrics, I look forward to it every year. In Paris, it doesn't get as cold as it does in Pennsylvania, but still cold enough to need some of those winter layers. Parisians are always chic and stylish so it's no wonder their winter fashion is no different. Here are 5 winter essentials for your Parisian wardrobe!

1. Scarves

Scarves are an essential Parisian wardrobe almost year round however, in winter they come out in full force. You'll see almost everyone wearing a scarf; men, women, kids, I've even seen a dog wearing a scarf, yes a dog. Not to mention scarves are very trendy this season. I love the examples pictured above!

2. Black Boots

Black boots will never go out of style. I featured them in my Fall Parisian Wardrobe Essentials post and their back for the winter post. Black boots go with just about everything and they are easy to layer sock underneath to keep warm!

3. Wool overcoat

A wool overcoat is timeless and so chic. I absolutely love an overcoat. You could be wearing sweats underneath and still look chic and put to gather. Invest in a wool one that last and keeps you extra warm!

4. Puffer coat

Similar to the overcoat, a puffer coat is timeless and completes any outfit. These are by far the warmest coat you can find, so pull them out on the coldest winder days. If you want to be extra trendy, opt for a fur or leather finish.

5. neutral sweater

Lastly, we have a neutral sweater. Goes with anything, soft and cozy, and most important will keep you warm. A sweater is one of the most important winter wardrobe essentials so its good to have a few colors.
