Paris is known for it's shopping and fashion, but what you may not know is just how many department stores there are in Paris. These department stores are no joke either, they are massive with hundreds of brands offered. Here are my top 3 that you should definitely check out while you are in Paris.
1. Les Halles (Westfield)
Location: 101 Porte Berger, 75001 Paris
Metro stops: Les Halles, and Châtelet lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14
Les Halles is a shopping mall located in the first arrondissement of Paris, right next to Jardin Nelson-Mandela. The Les Halles Form features innovative and modern design with skylights, illuminated ceilings, and lots of curves. There is a wave-like canopy above the mall, which is very cool to see. The mall even won the best of the year award for interior design in 2019. The mall features many major retailers including Zara, H&M, Sandro, Jonak, Berska, Gap, Mango, and Sephora. The department store is decorated for Christmas right now with a large tree right at the entrance. There is also a metro station right underneath the mall which makes it very convenient to get to the stores. This is a great stop while shopping not only because it is a beautiful and unique building but because it also houses some popular French and foreign brands.
